the study programme Specialization in Pedagogy is a combination of two study fields: Teaching assistance XY and Teacher Training in Special Education both for primary and lower secondary schools. The Bachelor's part of preparation is without field didactics i.e it does not qualify the student for teaching. The Bachelor's education will give the future teacher solid field principles in one or two teaching qualification subjects.

The studies are focussed on establishment of professional, pedagogical, psychological, communication and other personal competences as a step towards the Master's programme in Special Education Teaching for Primary and Secondary Schools. The goal is to prepare teaching assistants for special education in classrooms established for students with SEN in special primary and lower secondary schools and other school facilities. The field can be studied in daily and combined forms. It is divided into 5 specializations combined of two fields – speech therapy and the education of pupils with hearing impairments, mental impairments connected with the education of pupils with physical disabilities, visual impairment, behavioural problems, and also speech therapy. These specializations are bases for the follow-up Master's degree.
