The "Databases" orientation enhances student knowledge of architectures, principles and methods of designing large integrated systems for data processing. The orientation "Computer systems administration" enhances student's knowledge of architectures, design and operations principles of computer systems.
After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- understand principles and architectures of computer systems relevant to the selected specialization;
- explain interdependencies and relations of system components and functions;
- reflect relevant issues and limits, and to analyze system needs according to the selected specialization;
- design computer systems relevant to the selected specialization;
- apply different approaches to work with data and/or computer systems according to given needs.
The graduate from "Database" orientation can work as a database system designer, system programmer or administrator responsible for designing and operating database systems.
The graduate from "Computer systems administration" orientation will be able to work as system programmer or information system administrator.
