Passing the study plan

Graduates of Master's degree programmes who have obtained the academic degree "Master" may take the state rigorosum examination in the field of natural sciences, which includes the defence of the rigorosum thesis. After passing this examination, the academic title "Doctor of Natural Sciences", abbreviated as "RNDr.", is awarded in the field of natural sciences. in the abbreviated form before the name.

The applicant will demonstrate knowledge at the level of the master's degree programme: "Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in Chemistry" in the field of Chemistry Didactics (Education in Chemistry) and more profound knowledge in an optional subject (according to the focus of rigorosum thesis).

The oral part of the rigorosum examination corresponds to the relevant parts of the requirements for the state examination of the programme mentioned above, available at: https://ustavchemie.sci.muni.cz/informace-ke-studiu.

Recommendation: Before submitting your application for the rigorosum procedure, ask the guarantor of the study programme about the specific content of the rigorosum examination, which will be determined for your rigorosum procedure.
