We recommend combining credits equally, i.e. 10 in the Literature and Culture section and 10 in the Translation and Linguistics section. The course Introduction to VulgarLatin and Latin for Non-Latinists is a very suitable addition to the course Portuguese Linguistics 2, but it is not a necessary part of the program.
