LLL plan description

  • Presentation of the LLL plan (learning objectives)
    The current era brings to the fore the concept of individual health care and at the same time a huge flood of information on the health benefits and risks of natural substances/foods. Although the media has long provided a huge amount of information on the subject, this information is often unverified, unscientifically based, and even deliberately misleading. The course focuses on the issue of the influence of natural substances on specific physiological processes, the normalization of these physiological processes, and the use of natural substances in the rational and effective prevention of diseases, promotion and maintenance of health, on a scientific basis. The health risks of these substances will also be mentioned.
  • Target group
    Nutritional consultants, trainers, health professionals, elementary, secondary, and high school teachers. The course is also open to others interested in the issue.
  • Learning Outcomes

    The participant will gain:

    - knowledge and understanding of the influence of selected natural substances on health, physiological processes and their normalization,

    - ability to critically evaluate information about the health benefits and risks of natural substances

    - ability to identify health risks associated with natural substances and minimize them

    - ability to apply knowledge within the framework of individual health care, within the framework of rational and effective disease prevention and health promotion

  • Occupational Profiles of Graduates
    Nutritional consultants, trainers, health professionals, elementary, secondary, and vocational school teachers, workers in the field of prevention and wellness, food industry, research workers, etc.
  • Admission conditions
    The condition for acceptance is the successful submission of a valid application.
  • Course of education
    The teaching will be conducted on the basis of expertly prepared presentations that systematically cover the key topics of the course. These presentations serve as a structured basis for the course and at the same time as study material for students, thus ensuring effective transfer of theoretical knowledge and its practical application.
  • Conditions of graduation
    The condition for completing the course will be meeting the participation criteria and successfully completing the final test.
