Course objectives
Models of Regional Development The course aims to introduce the basic tasks and possibilities of modelling and prognoses in preparation of long-term strategies of regional development. Emphasis will be placed especially upon the selection of suitable models and making prognoses of the basic tendencies in a region's social and economic development. The practical aim of the course is to teach students how to use simple models and prognoses of regional development. Examination: oral.
