Course objectives
This course helps students to develop the basic skills in the creation of graphic compositions and work with typography (recommended course PV066: Typography I). In the study process of this course students meet with the basics of pre-press. This course aims to introduce students to the main problems of graphic design: graphic stylization, abstraction, nonverbal communication, interpretation and presentation.
Learning outcomes
Student will understand the basic terminology, will be able to work with professional software for vector grpahics, will be able to articulate her own drawing concepts and realize a given design. Student will be able to create a pictogram set on a given topic.

Course objectives
This course helps students to develop the basic skills in the creation of graphic compositions and work with typography (recommended course PV066: Typography I). In the study process of this course students meet with the basics of pre-press. This course aims to introduce students to the main problems of graphic design: graphic stylization, abstraction, nonverbal communication, interpretation and presentation.
Learning outcomes
Student will understand the basic terminology, will be able to work with professional software for vector grpahics, will be able to articulate her own drawing concepts and realize a given design. Student will be able to create a pictogram set on a given topic.

Course objectives
This course helps students to develop the basic skills in the creation of graphic compositions and work with typography (recommended course PV066: Typography I). In the study process of this course students meet with the basics of pre-press. This course aims to introduce students to the main problems of graphic design: graphic stylization, abstraction, nonverbal communication, interpretation and presentation.
Learning outcomes
He will understand terminology of Graphic Design, work with professional software for creating vector graphics, will be able to articulate his concepts in drawing and implement the given design. The student will be able to create a pictogram series on a given topic.

Course objectives
This course helps to develop the ability to create pictograms as basic elements of visual and informatic systems in self-contained series. At the end of the course students: - will be able to analyze and synthesize the shape; - will be able to work with rasters and prefabricates; - will know how to design a pictogram; - will be able to design a serie of pictograms; - to place pictograms on media; - will gain the practical experiences with various graphic tools.

This course helps to develop the ability to create pictographs as basic elements of visual and informatic systems (and grafic design all together)in self-contained series. At the end of the course students: - will be able to analyze and synthesize the shape; - will be able to work with rasters and prefabricates; - will know how to design a pictogram; - will be able to design a serie of pictograms; - to place pictograms on media; - will gain the practical experiences with various graphic tools.

Předmět vytváří dovednosti při tvorbě základního stavebního prvku vizuálních informačních systémů (a grafického designu vůbec) - piktogramu, a to v ucelené piktogramové řadě.
Syllabus
  • Introduction of a subject of design. Analyses and shape synthesis.
  • Pictograph (geometric, zoomorphic, anthropomorphic).
  • Style and ideas line of pictographs. Screens and prefabricated elements.
  • Application in materials. Graphic information systems. Graphic element and letters.
  • Poster-basic kinds and characteristic. Billborad.
  • Little exhibition set (a poster, invitation card, catalogue).

Course objectives
This course helps students to develop the basic skills in the creation of graphic compositions and work with typography (recommended course PV066: Typography I). In the study process of this course students meet with the basics of pre-press. This course aims to introduce students to the main problems of graphic design: graphic stylization, abstraction, nonverbal communication, interpretation and presentation.
Learning outcomes
Student will understand the basic terminology, will be able to work with professional software for vector grpahics, will be able to articulate her own drawing concepts and realize a given design. Student will be able to create a pictogram set on a given topic.
