Course objectives
The course provides students with solid knowledge needed for designing, implementing and managing the Active Directory (AD) network by means of MS Windows Server operating system. This knowledge includes introduction to logical and physical AD structure, account policy implementation, domain controllers replication, security management, AD backup or remote software installation via group policies. The lessons are realised on Windows Server 2012 R2.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to perform basic administration of Winodws-based systems.

The course provides students with solid knowledge needed for designing, implementing and managing the Active Directory (AD) network by means of MS Windows Server operating system. This knowledge includes introduction to logical and physical AD structure, account policy implementation, domain controllers replication, security management, AD backup or remote software installation via group policies. Předmět poskytne studentům ucelené informace potřebné pro správu serverových operačních systémů MS Windows a pro přípravu na získání certifikace MCP 70-290. Tyto informace zahrnují správu jednotlivých aspektů systému, jako jsou účty uživatelů, skupin a počítačů, Active Directory, monitorování systému, skupinové politiky, bezpečnost, správa zařízení, datová úložiště, tisk nebo zálohování; dále také údržbu systému a řešení možných problémů. Výuka probíhá na systému Windows Server 2003.
