- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to own interpretation of visual forms of interrelationship and size from the prehistorical cave paintings to the new history. The students make deductions based on acquired knowledge in case that never before anything knows about some visual forms or haven´t got some visual experience.
- Syllabus
- The prehistorical cave paintings, the meaning of visual representantion as immediate „corpus delicti“.
- Egypt - Old , Middle and New Kingdoms, Mezopotamia
- Greece - definition of the fundamental visual movements
- Rome - definition of the fundamental visual movements
- Christianity - romanesque period and the transformation to gothic period
- Visiting the exposition of the Anthropos Pavilion
- Gothic period - introduction into the fundamental areas of ther visual, formal qualities and their significance
- Renaissance - early period
- Renaissance - climactic period

- Teaching methods
- Form of presentations - course of lectures - interactive contakt form od lecture. Student must wrote the esej to choosen theme and realized test of summary of knowledges. Finish form - credits and colloquium.
- Assessment methods
- Lectures. Credits based on the written essey and the test. The test - = seven questions - students must be on the right answer on four questions. The finish time for lectures is transmit essey.
