- Course objectives
- A recommended seminar for MB008 Algebra I. The theory from lectures is worked out on additional examples. We practise several algorithms, in particular those for polynomials.
- Syllabus
- Basic properties of monoids, groups and rings. Algorithms for calculating with polynomials.
- Literature
- Sets of appropriate problems at www.math.muni.cz/~polak
- Teaching methods
- With the help of an instructor, the students solve various problems, mainly practical ones. Also certain theoretical problems are considered.
- Assessment methods
- For a credit, one needs an active participation at seminars (maximum 3 missed), a success by the final test.
- Language of instruction
- Czech
- Further comments (probably available only in Czech)
