Course objectives
In the framework of this course, PhD students are expected to prepare a written summary of the main goals and research priorities of their future PhD thesis. More information can be obtained at http://www.fi.muni.cz/studium/phd/teze.xhtml
Syllabus
  • PhD students are expected prepare the written material by themselves after consulting their supervisors. There are also group consultations leaded by teachers of the subject.

Teaching methods
Work in seminar groups, presentations of students.
Assessment methods
A compulsory course for PhD students, the only outcome is the thesis proposal. Credit can be given after submission of the thesis topic only (subject can be taken only once during the study).
