Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle The course is a combination of spinning and body building. The course is set for those who have already mastered the basic spinning techniques. At the beginning of the lesson the advanced spinning similar to the real outdoor cycling is included. The other part of the lesson focuses on the body building of the muscles that are not strained during spinning.
Syllabus
  • 1. Bicycle setting (considering the correct body posture, safety and comfort) 2. Spinning - pedal technique, body posture, breathing, position of hands, pedaling frequencies 3. Advanced spinning techniques - pedaling frequencies; strain intensification, running, jumps and dash up the hill 4. Body building in the muscles of the upper body part 5. Final stretching

Assessment methods
Tutorial assessed with the credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time
