Course objectives
The aims of the subjects are to introduce sociological and psychological aspects of behavior of a society, a group and an individual. This effort is aimed to the applied outputs and ability to prove the konowledge in practice. Concerning the form of subject (lecture), the realization of the aims is proivided on the theoretical level.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to apply selected sociological and psychological knowledge in practical situations. Based on practical experience they will be able to identify current mental state of players and their current mental state. They will be able to orientate in the topical problems of our society, to analyze the problems of group relations and to react on possibly appearing situations coming from the psychological basis of the individual.

  • Socialization of an athlete to the society - sociological and psychological aspoects
  • Aspects of contemporary society: postmodernism, sportification, technologization
  • Analysis of personality psychological states of athletes, self current mental states Comumnication in sport: verbal and nonverbal forms
  • Culture in sport settings: aspects of mass culture, limits of massification and possibilities for dealing with problems done by the mainstream pressure
  • Diagnosis of group relations - sociological dimension
  • Prelaunch, launch and competitive conditions
  • Health and its dimensions
  • Mental health of referee
  • Psychological preparation and psychology of coaching sport match.
