Course objectives
This course is the first contact a student of the Faculty of Sports Studies with a specialization sport ice hockey industry. The aim is that students understand all the rules of ice hockey, and their interaction led to apply them in the game. In teaching students will be familiar both with EEA rules for ice hockey and its development (ensuring a level playing field for both teams, attractiveness and continuity of the game, safety of participants and to prevent injury to the competing teams from different countries under predetermined conditions) and making the rules of ice hockey as a developing international regulation issued by the International ice Hockey Federation, with the acceptance of comments the national associations within the periods of preparation and change. Understanding and application of the rules is a prerequisite for further study rozhodcovství specialization, especially for the arbitration movement, signaling, cooperation referees on the ice and game management. After completing this course the student will be able to understand the teaching of other related subjects. At the same time gain information and knowledge that can later be used as a trainer for players, coaches and other officials in ice hockey. Will be able to better understand the game, read, and its development patterns. The lectures will be continuity in the rules of law in the Czech Ice Hockey Association, or exceptions and adjustments to the rules for domestic competition.
Syllabus
  • Meaning and work rules. Definition of course, in part, the concepts used in other parts of the   rules. Teams and equipment (split into mandatory and optional, dimensions, method of measurement), the number of players, alternating players and goalkeepers in the game   and interrupted the game. Referee match, their classification and explanation skills, responsibility and cooperation. Rules of the Game: throw, goal, offside, icing, other technical violations. Types of sentences, way to save, odpykávání, termination, the differences between sentences. Fouls and other offenses, their characteristics, the possibility of the level of penalties, offenses under resolution hazard impact on the atmosphere of the game and match. Specific rules for the goalkeeper.   Application of rules in different situations, finding a solution in   situations where there is more   violation.
