- Course objectives
- The course focuses on teaching downhill skiing. After successful completion of this course the student should: demonstrate knowledge of techniques of downhill skiing, skiing history; choose a suitable ski equipment; demonstrate the 4 elements of downhill skiing. Teaching of carving turn will be on short skis (140 cm).

- Practical exercises in the ski resort.
- Assessment methods
- The practical test consists of 4 elements: Snowplow turn, stem christie, parallel turn, carving turn. Each element is classified by the grade A - E. The final evaluation is the average value achieved marks.
