- The course is geared for obligatory PE only.

- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The main objective of this course is to introduce students to basic knowledge about wellness and healthy lifestyle. Students will have the opportunity to examine their own health and this course will provide them with necessary knowledge and experiences to create healthy habits and find more joy and satisfaction in their lives and studies. Through the semester we will focus on the basic dimensions of holistic health, using techniques of experiential reflective learning, where students learn from the teacher and current research, but as well from each other.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, students should be able to: - Define health and wellness an to explain the differences between personal and public health - Distinguish between passive and active approach to health - Understand the role of personal development in health promotion - Describe dimensions of wellness and their interrelations - Identify weaknesses in their own health and to apply principles of healthy lifestyle in their own lives.

- Teaching methods
- Practical seminars using methods of experiential reflective learning – individual work, group discussion, reflection and active homeworks.
- Assessment methods
- Students have to be present to minimum 10 seminars, complete the health assessment questionnaires prior to and after the course and actively carry out tasks from every seminar.
