Time and venue:
The course begins online from 9th March 2020 and include 24 hours engagement (in total for online part) of participants in online simulation and initial webinar on 2nd March 2020. Moreover 2-day offline meeting in Olomouc will followed on 31st March and 1st April from 9 AM until 5 PM. Accommodation for participants is provided for free.
Conditions for credit acquisition:
a) active participation during online part of the course (expected 24 hours of engagement including online simulation, webinar, individual preparation for simulation and project activity on the topics of Agenda 2030 a.k.a Sustainable Development Goals)
b) active presence at 2-day meeting in Olomouc (To Be Confirmed) (expected 16 hours of simulation negotiations and presentation of project activity)

Practical skills in intervention of conflicts (mediation, transformation)
Simulation of mediation approaches (role play, simulation of approaches in mediation)

Workflow during the segmented education process:
Students will be present and active at online and offline part of the course structured in presentations, specific exercises, discussions in small groups, simulations and role play. Through these activities, the students will gather information about trends and perspectives of: development agenda, forms of peaceful conflict resolution and they will familiarize themselves with practical skills in negotiation within a sensitive, developmental and culturally sensitive context.
The simulation will be supervised by Slovak as well as international lecturers. This will mean that English language will be the primary means of communication by letter also by word. - Language of instruction
