- Course objectives
- This course is intended as an overview of civil protection, focused mainly on the situation in the Czech Republic.
- Learning outcomes
- Students should be able to understand the nature of the protection of the population and they should be able to apply the acquired knowledge.
- Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the course; 2. History of population protection; 3. NATO and EU; 4. Concept of PP 5. Natural threats and catastrophes 6. Warning 7. Evacuation 8. Survival 9. Flood 10. Tehcnological catastrophes and CBRN-incidents 11. Detection and decontamination; 12. Critical infrastructure 13. Evaluation
