- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to introduce the concept of Central Europe in historical, topical and normative variations and to enable the students to contemplate the region from a critical perspective, to appreciate its specificities as well as past and future challenges.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon finishing this course the student will be able to critically and creatively think about ideas, past, meaning, problems and opportunities linked with the concept of “Central Europe” At the same time the student will be able to rationally reason about the future of this concept, as well as about the future of this region as such from many points of view: economic, politics, geopolitics, culture and most recent world development.
