Course objectives
This course is for full-time students who attended course for intermediate students in previous term and for those who studied German at secondary school or frequented language courses and reached B1 or B2 level of Common European Framework. The aim of this course is to improve knowledge of complicated grammar as well as reading with focus on newspaper articles. Because of this, students are going to be gradually introduced to issues and German terminology of mass media. After successful completion of this course it is possible to ask for exam acceptation on level: German for academic purposes

Assessment methods
The seminar is ended with an exam. Exam consists of two parts: written and oral. Written part consists of a grammar test and an essay on given topic. In oral part student must prove the ability to react on everyday situations and passive knowledge of journalistic terminology.
