- Course objectives
- This course serves as an introductory course in personnel management / human resource management (HRM) with a particular emphasis on the management of state organizations. The course will focus on appraisal system, internal and external staffing and training methods. After copletion of the course student will be able to: identify and discuss the main disciplines of personnel /human resource management, apply strategic HRM principles.

- I. History of HRM - Taylor, Mayo, contingental theories of HRM. II. Appraisal system in HRM. III. Case study in Appraisal system. IV. Internal and external staffing. V. Case study in internal and external staffing. VI. Job analysis and organizational structure. VII. Case study in job analysis. VIII. Training (on-the-job and off-the-job). IX. Case study in training methods. X. Soft-skills in HRM. XI. Soft-skills in HRM - case study. XII. Systemic approach in HRM: XIII. Systemic approach in HRM: case study.
