Course objectives
Understanding of the general part of civil law. Assumption of the right in rem and inheritance.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand the basic institutes of civil law;
intererpret the basic institutes of civil law with the context of other parts of Private Law;
make reasoned decisions about issues of the civil law;
explain this regulation,
apply it and to create the legal view for the concrete cases.

  • Time in a legal sense and its consequences.
  • Rights in rem, concept, categorization.
  • Ownership, concept, subject, object.
  • Acquisition of ownership.
  • Co-ownership, Co-ownership of flats (apartments).
  • Rights in rem aliena.
  • Administration of property of others, Trust fund
  • Succession law
  • Testamentary succession

Teaching methods
Learning is made in the form of lecture (once a week) and following seminaries (once a week). The lectures have cognitive function, seminaries are reserved for practise of ability to apply the legal regulation on the concrete cases.
Assessment methods
Compulsory lessons.
Continuous home preparation.
Written tests.
The course finishes with written test, the students obtain credits. The conditions for obtaining credits can be specified by every teacher differently. It is minimally to pass one test, number of questions designates the teacher, the student has to get more than half of marks.

Civil Law Substantive - the fundamental legal part of private area. Understanding of the general part of civil law. Assumption of the right in rem and inheritance.

Course objectives
Civil Law Substantive - the fundamental legal part of private area. Understanding of the general part of civil law. Assumption of the right in rem and inheritance.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand the basic institutes of civil law;
intererpret the basic institutes of civil law with the context of other parts of Private Law;
make reasoned decisions about issues of the civil law;
explain this regulation,
apply it and to create the legal view for the concrete cases.

Learning is made in the form of lecture (once a week) and following seminaries (once a week). The lectures have cognitive function, seminaries are reserved for practise of ability to apply the legal regulation on the concrete cases.
Assessment methods

Continuous home preparation.
Written tests.
The course finishes with written test, the students obtain credits. The conditions for obtaining credits can be specified by every teacher differently. It is minimally to pass one test, number of questions designates the teacher, the student has to get more than half of marks.

Course objectives
Civil Law Substantive - the fundamental legal part of private area. Understanding of the general part of civil law. Assumption of the right in rem and inheritance.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand the basic institutes of civil law;
intererpret the basic institutes of civil law with the context of other parts of Private Law;
make reasoned decisions about issues of the civil law;
explain this regulation,
apply it and to create the legal view for the concrete cases.

  • Personal rights.
  • Civil legal matters, legal acts (legal transaction). Consequences.
  • Civil legal matters, concluding a contract.
  • Civil legal matters, time and its purport.
  • Rights in rem, concept, categorization.
  • Ownership, concept, subject, object.
  • Acquisition of ownership.
  • Co-ownership and matrimonial property.
  • Co-ownership of flats (apartments).
  • Rights to another persons things.
  • Succession, intestacy, testamentary succession

Learning is made in the form of lecture (once a week) and following seminaries (once a week). The lectures have cognitive function, seminaries are reserved for practise of ability to apply the legal regulation on the concrete cases.
Assessment methods
Compulsory lessons.
Continuous home preparation.
Written tests.
The course finishes with written test, the students obtain credits. The conditions for obtaining credits can be specified by every teacher differently. It is minimally to pass one test, number of questions designates the teacher, the student has to get more than half of marks.

Course objectives
Civil Law Substantive - the fundamental legal part of private area. Understanding of the general part of civil law. Assumption of the right in rem and inheritance. General part of obligations.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand the basic institutes of civil law;
intererpret the basic institutes of civil law with the context of other parts of Private Law;
make reasoned decisions about issues of the civil law;
explain this regulation,
apply it and to create the legal view for the concrete cases.

  • Personal rights.
  • Civil legal matters, legal acts (legal transaction). Consequences.
  • Civil legal matters, concluding a contract.
  • Civil legal matters, time and its purport.
  • Rights in rem, concept, categorization.
  • Ownership, concept, subject, object.
  • Acquisition of ownership.
  • Co-ownership and matrimonial property.
  • Ownership of flats (apartments).
  • Rights to another persons things.
  • Succession, intestacy, testamentary succession

Teaching methods
Learning is made in the form of lecture (once a week) and following seminaries (once a week). The lectures have cognitive function, seminaries are reserved for practise of ability to apply the legal regulation on the concrete cases.
Assessment methods
Compulsory lessons.
Continuous home preparation.
Written tests.
The course finishes with written test, the students obtain credits. The conditions for obtaining credits can be specified by every teacher differently. It is minimally to pass one test, number of questions designates the teacher, the student has to get more than half of marks.

Občanské právo hmotné - základní právní odvětví soukromoprávní sféry
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Občanskoprávní vztahy. Všeobecná osobnostní práva. Občanskoprávní skutečnosti, náležitosti právních úkonů, následky. Občanskoprávní skutečnosti, uzavírání smluv. Občanskoprávní skutečnosti, plynutí času, význam času. Věcná práva, pojem, druhy, vlastnické právo, pojem, obsah, předmět. Nabývání vlastnického práva. Spoluvlastnictví, společné jmění manželů. Bytové vlastnictví. Věcná práva k věci cizí. Závazkové právo, pojem a druhy závazků.

  • Občanské právo hmotné, pojem, předmět, zásady, systém, normy, tendence vývoje. Občanskoprávní vztahy. Všeobecná osobnostní práva. Občanskoprávní skutečnosti, náležitosti právních úkonů, následky. Občanskoprávní skutečnosti, uzavírání smluv. Občanskoprávní skutečnosti, plynutí času, význam času. Věcná práva, pojem, druhy, vlastnické právo, pojem, obsah, předmět. Nabývání vlastnického práva. Spoluvlastnictví, společné jmění manželů. Bytové vlastnictví. Věcná práva k věci cizí.

Understanding of the general part of civil law. Assumption of the right in rem and inheritance.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand the basic institutes of civil law;
intererpret the basic institutes of civil law with the context of other parts of Private Law;
make reasoned decisions about issues of the civil law;
explain this regulation,
apply it and to create the legal view for the concrete cases.

  • Legal acts - interpretation
  • Time in a legal sense and its consequences.
  • Rights in rem, concept, categorization.
  • Ownership, concept, subject, object.
  • Acquisition of ownership.
  • Co-ownership, Co-ownership of flats (apartments).
  • Rights in rem aliena.
  • Administration of property of others, Trust fund
  • Succession law
  • Testamentary succession

Learning is made in the form of lecture (once a week) and following seminaries (once a week). The lectures have cognitive function, seminaries are reserved for practise of ability to apply the legal regulation on the concrete cases.
Assessment methods
Compulsory lessons.
Continuous home preparation.
Written tests.
The course finishes with written test, the students obtain credits. The conditions for obtaining credits can be specified by every teacher differently. It is minimally to pass one test, number of questions designates the teacher, the student has to get more than half of marks.
