- Course objectives
- The Integrated refuge Law Course aims at practising the English language competence as well as the ability of legal reasoning for the particular cases presented.

- Language Training and Practical Workshops: 2.10. Introduction - credit and exam requirements, literature, language portfolio, definition of a refugee 8.10. - Assessment methods (in Czech)
- Credit requirements: active participation in the seminars, students portfolio consisting of: 1. presenting a newspaper article about refugees from all over the world, lexis and a summary 2. defining 10 lexical items or collocations relating to the issues, e.g. economic migrants, agents of persecution, race, voluntary re-availment of national protection . 3. choosing 20 lines from Immigration and Asylum Act (GB) and its translation into Czech 4. describing the administrative procedure in the Czech Republic - 1 page 5. giving ones opinion on the emigration from the Czech Republic and stating the reasons why people flee the country - essay 1 page 6. comparing the position of asylum-seekers in the CR and one of the EU countries, stating advantages and disadvantages - 1 page 7. case study - choosing the case, stating the facts and giving legal reasoning of ones own for positive or negative decision determining the status of a refugee
