- Course objectives
- The course introduces to Medical Ethics. Since ethics is a part of practical philosophy, the course also introduces to philosophical thinking whose methods are used in Medical Ethics. The aim of the course is: - to introduce to Medical Ethics - to provide basics in Philosophy of Medicine - to acquire Medical Ethics in the historical context (from the Hippocratic tradition till Modern Times) - to develop the ability to perceive ethical aspects of medicine
