- Course objectives
- The subject acquaints students with methodics of development of basic motor abilities: velocity, strength, endurance, coordination, flexibility. It gives an overview of factors that determine particular motor abilities and a compendium of practical alternatives for motor abilities development. The subject emphasizes appropriate selection of adequate methodics and its correct application in the frame of particular problem.
- Syllabus
- Introduction, history and basic definition in methodology of physical abilities development. Motor performance. Periodization, components and periods of motor abilities development. Loading, recovery, supercompenzation and regeneration. Methodology of movement velocity development. Methodology of movement strength development. Methodology of movement endurance development. Methodology of movement flexibility development or constraint. Methodology of movement coordination and balance development. Diagnostics of motor abilities level.
