- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the students should be able to analyse current problems of international relations.

- Syllabus
- 1. Europe in 1914-1920. 2. Political, economical and social development between the wars. 3. WW II. Anti-fascist coalition. 4. The Cold War 1946-1953. 1956 in Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Suez crisis. 5. 1960 - the year of Africa. 6. Berlin and Caribbean crisis. 7. Unrest in Asia - Vietnam, China, India, Pakistan. 8. 1970-1975 and the release of tension. Helsinki 1975. 9. Poland - riots in 1976, founding of Solidarnosc in 1980. The USSR in Afghanistan (1979-1989). 10. 1982 - The Falkland War between UK and Argentina. 11. Gorbatschev's ruling and decomposition of the East bloc. 12. Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Syrie. 13. International organizations.
