- Course objectives (in Czech)
- In this class, students will develop their speaking and listening skills. We will spend most of our time engaged in discussion, and students will expand their vocabulary and skill using complex structures by actually using the language.

- The course will cover various areas of spoken discourse on a range of topics. Students are expected to come to each class ready to speak.

- Assessment methods (in Czech)
- Attendence is required since it is impossible to make up a missed discussion. Regarding class contribution, students should participate positively in group and class discussions, and not only when called upon. Students are also required to give a brief oral presentation to the whole class.
