- Course objectives
- This course is a follow-up of Translation seminars 1 (an introduction) and focuses passive translations (german to czech) of different styles and text types.
- Syllabus
- Theory: Differences in translating fiction and non-fiction, equivalence according to text style and genre. Translation practice: scientific texts (philology, presentation techniques), fictional texts, coloquial language, comics
