Prerequisites

The study trip is for students studying the Master study. If there are vacancies also persons from the Bacelor study can participate. The study trip will take part, if the requested financial aid will be approved.

Course objectives

The International Meeting of the German teachers (IDT) is the world's largest conference of German as a foreign language and the biggest international event with German as a working language. It takes place every 4 years and 2009 at 14 Time, expected are about 2000 participants from 100 countries. In many major speeches and in more than 40 sections of all areas of language introduced by scientific contributions, you may participate in a rich cultural and excursion program and discuss with publishers to find new publications. The aim of the trip is to the students to get an overview about the actual development of the subject German as a foreign language and an idea about the global dimension of their study object.
