- Course objectives
- Objective of the course in terms of learning outcomes and competences The student has knowledge of the following topics: visual functions and their influence on functional vision, optical and non-optical aids, rehabilitation system, safety rules for guides, leisure activities and rules of basic games for people with visual impairments. The student becomes a guide of visually impaired people and is able to plan their free time in a suitable way.

- Syllabus
- The syllabus is divided into four blocks:
- Practicing correct spatial orientation and independent movement of people with visual impairment.
- Diagnostics and rehabilitation of visual functions.
- Self-training for people with various types of visual impairment - searching for barriers.
- Training of sports disciplines for visually impaired people
