- Course objectives
- The aim is to obtain an arranged knowledge of the subject Nanotechnology at the university level. Emphasis is placed on the logical construction of the science disciplines and to acquire the knowledge and skills needed for teaching technical subjects in high school. For these reasons, there is larger number of practical applications situated in talks and emphasize is put on the relationship of the subject to practice, nature, household, technical applications, etc. At the end of the course student should be able to understand a very quickly developing branch - nanotechnology. Main attempt will be devoted to physical base of nanotechnology and phenomena occurred with their usage.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
Basic principles of the Nanotechnology Thematic Area.
Identify the principles of technical applications.
Describe simple applications and a relationship to the subject matter.
Analyze simple application examples - Syllabus
- Characteristics of branch (atoms, molecules, clusters ..)
- Nanotechnology in the industry
- Instrumental technique
- "Nanotechnology" in the nature
- Nanobiotechnology and bionanotechnology
