- Course objectives
- The subject of Phonetics exercises follows the studied themes in the subjects Phonetics 1 and Phonetics 2. The objective is to consolidate, deepen and develop through further practical training (dictations, reading of continuous texts, reciting poems, phonetic spelling of words and sentences) language skills and knowledge gained in the courses (Phonetics 1, Phonetics 2). Emphasis is placed on error correction and reeducation of correct pronunciation.
- Learning outcomes
- After the course student will be able to: - correct his pronunciation; - correct the pronunciation of his future pupils; - properly use phonetic transcription; - grammatically correctly transcribe foreign-language text; - understand the relationship between spelling and pronunciation.

- Syllabus of seminars 1. Dictation. Dictation correction. - spelling practicing. 2. Reading of connected texts. 3. Phonetic transcription of words and sentences. 4. Listening. 5. Recitation of poems by heart - Analysis of pronunciation. 6. Czech pupils pronunciation errors.
