- Course objectives
- This course will allow students to examine theories and techniques for teaching English as a foreign language to learners with specific learning disabilities. Information, resources and examples of teaching methods will be provided. Students will understand methods and materials that are useful for mixed-abilities language-learning classes.
- Syllabus
- This class meets weekly. Each session will include a warm-up exercise, brief lecture, demonstration of methods and activities and a dialogue journal. Articles posted on Moodlinka are required reading for this course.

- This course is based on 100 points that will be divided among the following activities:
Class participation 20 points
Forum 30 points
Quizzes 20 points
Presentation 30 points
Total maximum 100 points A minimum of 70% is needed to pass this course. This course is designed to provide students with interactive opportunities for learning how to teach EFL to learners with specific learning disabilities. It also is an opportunity to use English in a professional educational setting. Therefore, class participation is strongly encouraged by regular attendance and by taking part in class activities. - Language of instruction
