- Course objectives
- Students will be able to apply basic statistical procedures for item and test analysis and will be able to interpret test results properly. They will be aware of potential threats to validity when inappropriate procedures are applied. Students will be able to analyse data for small samples and to use some analyses in large data sets. Students will be able to apply procedures typical for Classical Test Theory and they will know what Item Response Theory is and when it is useful. Future teachers of English will develop their competencies in language testing, especially in the test result interpretation.
