- Course objectives
- After completing the course, the student is able to characterize the didactics of the Czech language as a science and explain the relationship to other scientific disciplines. He or she is well oriented in the objectives, concept, and content of language teaching, educational program for elementary schools RVP ZV - ŠVP ZV. Based on the acquired knowledge, he or she is able to: - to give their opinions about the linguistic ad didactic elaboration of the curricula in the selected textbooks; - to compare the content of the curricula in the single years with the basic school documents; - to make various types of exercises with regard to mastering key skills; - develop training on various types of lessons, he or she knows their structures.

- 1 . Didactics of the Czech language teaching in the system of the sciences, definition and analysis of it. 2. Czech language teaching in the past and today. 3. The goals of the Czech language teaching, 4. Teacher and his position in the Czech language teaching. 5. Curriculum, textbooks and other facilities in the Czech language teaching. 6. Orthography and Grammatics in the Czech language teaching. 7. Orthography in the lexicology, morphology and syntax. 8. Grammatical cathegories of the nouns, adjectives, pronounc, numerals and verbs. 9. Evaluation and classification.

- Teaching methods
- The main method is a lecture supplemented by practical examples, then the interpretation of the problem, and the methods of research.
- Assessment methods
- Lecture. Ending: Credit. The type of the lesson: lecture The course is closed by a credit. The credit requirements: very good knowledge of the basic school documents (Basic School Programme RVP ZV - ŠVP ZV) and the Czech language textbooks for the elementary levels of Basic Schools. The knowledge is verified by a written test containing 30 questions. Student must answer correctly 25 of them.
