Cíle předmětu
The course is focused on the mastering of field vocabulary and methodological processes which lead to the development of musical creativity, imagination and creative thinking. The aim of the subject is: to learn essential knowledge and skills in interpretative activities (vocal, rhythmical, instrumental, music kinaesthetic), perceptive activities (aural and listening), creative activities and activities within music theory.
Osnova
  • During Introduction to Music Education students interconnect previously acquired theoretical knowledge of music theory, harmony, intonation, music history and the practical skills of teaching instrumental and vocal training so that the student can apply them in practice. Theoretical introduction to Music Education (characteristics of the subject, creating thematic units and their application in the lesson; an arrangement of Music lessons). Following current trends in Education, attention is paid to non-traditional methods and forms of work aimed at the development of musical creativity and elementary music. Furthermore, the emphasis is placed on the concept of the subject, which contributes to the understanding of the connections between different types of art.

Metody hodnocení
Type of teaching: seminar Credit requirements for colloquy: a) A minimum of 80% active participation in seminars. b) Work with a text (nursery rhyme, poems) – composing Music for children's nursery rhymes/poems and writing it to the stave. c) creation of a simple score to two folk and two artificial songs with accompaniment by using basic musical instruments. d) Create a worksheet with selected musical educational phenomena.
