- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to encourage students to self-education in foreign languages. It is desirable that students have formed contacts with foreign countries and cultures and thus strengthen their intercultural competence. Student mobility within university programs and inter-faculty agreements, foreign students can provide an international experience associated with having to use a foreign language. These international foreign activities will become a natural part of the study and the condition of its successful completion.
- Learning outcomes
- By contacting a foreign language and a new cultural environment, students: - acquire or enrich the intercultural experience, - will be able to compare the starting and target cultures, - be prepared for a comprehensive perception and evaluation of education by using wider mobility capabilities in the European / non-European area, - will be among the language graduates with better employability in the labor market at home and abroad.
- Syllabus
- 1. Attendance subject taught in a foreign language is a language other than Russian. 2. Diploma or certificate of completion of studies or course (summer / winter schools) in a foreign language from foreign institutions. 3. Study abroad under the Erasmus + or other similar forms of student mobility. 4. Seminar, coursework or other professional work in a foreign language.
- Teaching methods
- The subject is not taught, the student receives a rating based on the submitted results of its activities.
- Assessment methods
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of a foreign language and intercultural competence upon the completion of foreign activity / activities, study abroad, or obtaining documents / certificates on completion of another language or other training in a foreign language.
