- Výukové metody
- This class uses a variety of teaching methods such as pair and group work, class and online forum discussions (in Mood-link-a), short class presentations, role-plays, and acted-out dialogues, and learning centers. The Mood_link_a site provides students with more self-study materials.
- Metody hodnocení
- Students will attend a total of 3 hours every week.
- Since this is a practical language course, attendance is expected. The department sets the level of attendance at 80%, so it is suggested that students not miss more than 2 classes. Students are expected to arrive to class on time and bring their own copy of the coursebook. Failure to do so may result in their attendance not being counted towards meeting the minimum requirement.
- Throughout the semester there will be various tasks specified by the teacher that make up the continuous assessment. These include a progress test, in-class presentation, and written forum contributions. The continuous assessment will be based on work done in class with the book Outcomes Advanced (2nd edition) as well as out-of-class assignments.
- Students are also expected to study the book English Grammar In Use in their own time.
- The final written test (pass mark 70%) will consist of the evaluation of the students' grammar and vocabulary based on the course book as well as general reading and listening comprehension.
- Please note that to successfully pass the course, you must meet the minimum attendance requirements, pass the final written test, and achieve at least 70 points overall.
