- Course objectives
- The course links to the themes of lectures, which increases and elaborates the form of comments and presented papers prepared by students. Students elaborate an essay with complete bibliography and summary in English. Lectures on the subject of the essay are presented in Czech or English depending on students choise and option. Also the class discussion is managed in Czech or English depending on student´s priorities.

- 1. Introduction and entering of individual papers (including the recommended literature).
- 2. Choosen issues of the Earlier Roman Period (stage Eggers A)
- 3. Choosen issues of the Early Roman Period (stage Eggers B1)
- 4. Choosen issues of the Early Roman Period (stage Eggers B2a)
- 5. Choosen issues of the Early Roman Period (stage Eggers B2b)
- 6. Choosen issues of the Early Roman Period (stage Eggers B2/C1).

Completion requirements: presens (2 absences excused), active engagement in lessons, a paper/an essay (verbal and written elaborated) with summarised results in English (written summary/abstract in the extent of 800 characters). - Language of instruction
