- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course gives the main knowledge of Lithuanian grammar for all those, who cannot attend the full program of Baltic studies. Lessons are widely open for everyone interested in the basics of Lithuanian language. The course is an "easier" variation of the main Lithuanian-courses. No knowledge of the Lithuanian needed at the beginning.
- Learning outcomes
- Student is able to speak about what is he/sche doing in leisure time, if is interested in sports, travelling, culture etc. Handle the communication in a restaurant or a shop. Student knows this grammar: future tense, conditional mood, predicative and comparison of adjectives, adverbs and predicative.
- Syllabus
- Lithuanian alfabet. Basics of the Lithuanian phonology. What does it meen a "free" accent in Lithuanian? How to introduce your self. Conversation topics: family, weather, shopping, meal etc.

- Student is able to speak about what is he/sche doing in leisure time, if is interested in sports, travelling, culture etc. Handle the communication in a restaurant or a shop. - Student is able to speak about what is he/sche doing in leisure time, if is interested in sports, travelling, culture etc. Handle the communication in a restaurant or a shop. Lessons are widely open for everyone interested in the basics of Lithuanian language. The course is an "easier" variation of the main Lithuanian-courses. No knowledge of the Lithuanian needed at the beginning.
