- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to prepare students for the performance of teachers of vocational subjects in the psychological part of the competence framework. The course uses the interdisciplinary focus of teachers - from psychologists, through theoretical teachers to practitioners with rich educational practice. It combines the theoretical and practical component of education.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course the student:
is familiar with the basic topics and problems of educational psychology focused on the educational environment;
can analyze and solve common school cases;
has a good overview of the available literature on the topic, which he actively uses;
masters the psychological aspects of normal pedagogical communication in the classroom;
understands and reflects the basic psychological dimension of teaching in formal and non-formal learning environments;
reflects the psychodidactic component of the educational process. - Syllabus

- General psychology, methods, research, topics
- Personality psychology - motivation, heredity, structure and components of personality, personality dynamics, self
- Developmental psychology and cognitive factors - development of intelligence, development of speech, creativity, ability to learn.
- Selected topics from educational psychology: learning style, learning methods, evaluation and evaluation tools
- Social interaction at school, classroom climate, social perception and classroom management
- Teacher's personality, teacher's self-evaluation
- Professional skills of a teacher, burdens of the teaching profession, burnout syndrome
- Interaction pedagogue - pupil, pedagogue - parent, parent - pupil
- Resolving class conflicts, preventing pathogens
- Psychology in the cyber environment, psychology on social networks
- Computer games and computer addictions
- Basic pedagogical diagnostic methods, methods of pedagogical-psychological research
- School psychologist, pedagogical-psychological counseling
- The most common pedagogical-psychological problems and methods of their solution

- Teaching methods
- Students work with an interactive curriculum, develop assignments and reflection on reading. During the semester, they attend teaching meetings on selected problems and cases from pedagogical practice. At the end of the semester, they defend a small project in reflection and take a test.
