- Course objectives
- Croatian language course, practicing grammar, translation exercises, stress on practical language.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course students are able to conversate on topics of adequate comlexity, interpret phrazeologisms, recognise the stylistic value of a text or speech, understands spoken language without difficulty.
- Syllabus
- Interpretation of short stories by contemporary Croatian authors, analysis of topical articles from Croatian press, paronyms, conversation on various topics.

- Regular attendance, homework and home preparation required. Students must hand in a series of essays, seven pages of translation from Croatian to Czech and to pass a final test.
