Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: use Swedish, both spoken and written, in everyday situations;
to understand morphological and syntactic structures;
apply rules of Swedish pronunciation
The level after successful completion of the course according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages: A2
Syllabus
  • Simple texts and discussions related to everyday topics, such as food, clothes, shopping and leisure time
  • Practicing pronunciation and intonation, listening skills, phonetic rules
  • Morphological and syntactic patterns and structures

Teaching methods
The seminar is based on methods of presentation, analysis and synthesis of knowledge. It also uses collective work, in-class discussions and individual work of students.
