Charactristic diferential features of Slavic languages in younger development. 7. Culturalhistorical and social developments on Slavic territories. 8. Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to analyse and to demonstrate the etymological relativity of Slavic languages and to demonstrate their knowledges in the analysis of the given Slavic data.

  • 1. Dialectal split of proto-Slavic 2. Development of nasal vowels, yers. 3. Ways of classification of Slavic languages. 4. Slavic "Urheimat" 5. General characterization of Slavic languages. 6. Charactristic diferential features of Slavic languages in younger development. 7. Culturalhistorical and social developments on Slavic territories. 8. Charecterization of individual Slavic languages in phonology, morphology and lexicon. 9. Common relationships between Slavic languages. 10. Relationship between Slavic and non-Slavic languages. 11. Course objectives
Seminar is mainly for students, whose had absolved The theoretical basics of etymology course. On the basics of etymological principles and methods and with the help of new informations on Slavic languages students will develop their ability to reconstruct phonemic as well and semantic development of chosen words or word-families of Slavic lexicon.

Seminář je určen především studentům, kteří absolvovali přednášku Teoretické základy etymologie. Na základě teoretických znalostí principů a metod této diachronní jazykovědné disciplíny a nově získávaných poznatků o slovanských jazycích budou vedeni ke schopnosti rekonstruovat hláskový, resp. sémantický vývoj určitých slov nebo slovních rodin slovanského lexika.

  • 1. Nářeční štěpení praslovanštiny. 2. Vývoj nosovek, jerů, jať a proteze. 3. Způsoby klasifikace slovanských jazyků. 4. Slovanská pravlast. 5. Slovanské jazyky - obecná charakteristika. 6. Charakteristické diferencující znaky slovanských jazyků v mladším vývojovém období. 7. Kulturněhistorický a společensko-politický vývoj na slovanském teritoriu. 8. Charakteristika jednotlivých slovanských jazyků po stránce fonologické, slovotvorné a lexikální. 9. Vzájemné ovlivňování sl. jazyků. 10. Vlivy jazyků neslovanských na sl. jazyky, kalky. 11. Lexikální shody a rozdíly sl. jazyků.

Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to analyse and to demonstrate the etymological relativity of Slavic languages and to demonstrate their knowledges in the analysis of the given Slavic data.
Syllabus
  • 1. Dialectal split of proto-Slavic 2. Development of nasal vowels, yers. 3. Ways of classification of Slavic languages. 4. Slavic "Urheimat" 5. General characterization of Slavic languages. 6. Charactristic diferential features of Slavic languages in younger development. 7. Culturalhistorical and social developments on Slavic territories. 8. Charecterization of individual Slavic languages in phonology, morphology and lexicon. 9. Common relationships between Slavic languages. 10. Relationship between Slavic and non-Slavic languages. 11. Elementar lexical identity and non-identity in Slavic languages

Course objectives
Seminar is mainly for students, whose had absolved The theoretical basics of etymology course. On the basics of etymological principles and methods and with the help of new informations on Slavic languages students will develop their ability to reconstruct phonemic as well and semantic development of chosen words or word-families of Slavic lexicon.
