Course objectives
The course aims at presenting the main authors of the Italian narrative in the years 1980-2000, via analyses of their principale literary works.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Kurz se skládá ze dvou částí. První část tvoří jednotlivé semináře, jež jsou věnovány analýze ukázek z děl hlavních představitelů současné italské prózy. Výchozí body: Se una notte dinverno un viaggiatore Itala Calvina; Il nome della rosa Umberta Eca; Altri libertini P. V. Tondelliho. Kapitoly věnované tzv. "novým autorům" 80. let a "novým kanibalům" 90. let; ženským autorkám; cyberpunku a vědecko-fantastické literatuře, detektivnímu románu; literatuře on-line. Druhou část kurzu tvoří prezentace seminárních prací, jejichž prostřednictvím studenti představí a zhodnotí konkrétní dílo jednoho soudobého autora (dle zadání)
