Course objectives
Definition of general semantic notions; theory and classification of semantic changes; the importance of research in lexicology for the quality of the lexicographic production; general characteristics of French dictionaries.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • V sémantické části výkladu půjde o definování obecně sémantických pojmů (sémantika, sémiologie, sémiotika; onomaziologie a sémaziologie; znak: signifiant a signifié, význam, pojem, denotát), o různé teorie a klasifikace sémantických změn (diachronický pohled), zatímco v synchronně zaměřeném výkladu budou na francouzském materiálu ilustrovány různé kategorie lexikálně sémantického popisu (synonymie, antonymie, polysémie, homonymie atd.). Zdůrazněn bude praktický význam lexikologického výzkumu pro kvalitu lexikografické produkce. Charakteristika francouzských slovníků. Zvláštní pozornost bude věnována problému slova jakožto jednotky popi-su jazyka vzhledem k jeho omezené autonomii fonetické i syntaktické, jakož i tomu, jak se tento fakt odráží ve výstavbě francouzské výpovědi (clarté française).
