- Course objectives
- To learn the development of states, societies, religions and culture of Antiquity. To study separately and to be able to understand the development from the tribal society to the state, to explain the analogies and diferrencies concerning the ancien tNear East, Egypt and Classical Antiquity; to describe the thinking, developing from the beginnings of ancient times until today. The candidates use the recommended literature and separately find the other books and sources. They are professed to three isolated parts of colloquim: 1) Devoted to the knowledge of Near East 2) to the ancient Greece. 3) to the ancien Rome.

- Preparation to colloquium devoted to the history of ancient Orient (2-3 consultations)
- Preparation to colloquium devoted to the history af ancient Greece (2-3 consultations)
