- Course objectives
- The course introduces basic morphological and syntactic phenomena of normative Latin grammar. Special attention is given to practical proficiency geared primarily toward reading comprehension of elementary Latin texts.
- Syllabus
- Morphology: subjunctive mood, comparison of adjectives and adverbs, numerals, perfect system of verbs, pronouns (demonstrative and interrogative), irregular verbs. Syntax: indicative subordinate clauses (time and relative), direct questions.

- Contents of the semester:
Class exercises, two semestral tests.
Requirements for credit:
