- Course objectives
- After the completion of the course students should be able to deal with the fragments of Presocratic philosophers and to consider and rebuild their cosmological conceptions.

- 1. The term cosmos. Cosmology and specificity of ancient views on cosmos.
- 2. The question of sources.
- 3. Mythological cosmogonies.
- 4. Cosmological ideas of Milesians.
- 5. Pythagorean ideas about the Universe (the Cosmos).
- 6. Heraclitus.
- 7. The Eleatics.
- 8. Cosmology of younger physics.
