Course objectives
A Flew over the Czech-based moving image, (approximately) from the 1990s till 2012, in six chapters, presenting some actual ways of working with moving image (and sound), as well as their (possible) predecessors and theoretical approaches used for interpretations. We will also discuss the context and the presentation, possibilities of supporting and the process of originating of the given works. We will set forward to the borders of disciplines and genres, while for interpretations of emergent audiovisual art it is necessary to accept the disordered disciplinary frontiers and follow the escaping images in their wandering to the streets, the walls of the buildings, the area of sound, into the scientific data visualizations, in the web environment, but also back to film.
